    Q&A WITH NICOLÒ ZAMPEDRI
What does dance mean to you?
    - Dance means discipline to me, it has taught me commitment, focus, and how to push myself every day. At the same time, when I dance, I forget about everything else and fully lose myself in the moment. It’s one of the only times I feel completely present, focused only on movement and expression.

What memory will you take with you from your time at ZHdK?
    - One of my most meaningful memories is from my first year, when I performed a contemporary choreography for the first time. It was challenging because it was a completely new style for me, but I really enjoyed the process and what I discovered through it. I also had the opportunity to perform two duets, which made the experience even more special.

Which work or choreographer particularly inspires you, and why?
    - One of the choreographers I most enjoyed working with is Jill Johnson. Through her, I was introduced to the Forsythe technique and improvisation, which allowed me to explore new qualities and discover different sides of myself. I really appreciate the way she teaches and how she inspires curiosity and interest in the work we do.
