I propose to compose an evening length series of pieces for a trio of musicians, play at least 3 concerts and spend one day in a professional recording studio to document these pieces. The musical work will blur the lines between jazz, classical composition and improvisation with live electronics. The inspiration for this song cycle comes from the beauty of the mountains and nature and the fear that one day this earth may not be a safe place to live anymore due to climate change.
