DIPLOMA PROJECT
I am writing to express my keen interest in exploring the theme «How can contemporary dance techniques help to develop fluidity in classical ballet» as the subject of my Master Thesis. This topic resonates deeply with my professional and personal aspirations as a ballet teacher and lifelong learner committed to the art of dance.
Classical ballet, while rooted in tradition, continuously evolves. My goal is to investigate how principles from contemporary dance can enhance the fluidity of movement in classical ballet, fostering greater adaptability and expressiveness in dancers. I believe this research has the potential to bridge the gap between the rigid structure of classical ballet and the dynamic, organic qualities of contemporary dance.
