Meine Masterthesis versteht Zeichnen als körperlich-situierte, relationale und performative Praxis, die Wahrnehmung nicht nur abbildet, sondern aktiv in Beziehungen und Narrative eingreifen kann. Ausgangspunkt ist meine eigene Erfahrung von Mutterschaft im Spannungsfeld gesellschaftlicher Rollenbilder, feministischer Theorie und künstlerischer Praxis. Im Zentrum steht die zeichnerische Intervention „Mutter als Beobachterin“, durch die Wahrnehmung, Beziehung und familiäre Rollen neu verhandelt werden. Die Arbeit untersucht, inwiefern zeichnerisches Erzählen transformatorische Prozesse auslösen und neue Formen von Selbstverortung, Beziehung und Bildung eröffnen kann.

My master’s thesis understands drawing as an embodied, situated, relational, and performative practice that not only represents perception but can actively intervene in relationships and dominant narratives. The starting point is my own experience of motherhood within the tension between societal role models, feminist theory, and artistic practice. At the centre of the work is the drawing-based intervention “Mother as Observer,” through which perception, relationships, and familial roles are renegotiated. The thesis explores to what extent drawing as a narrative practice can initiate transformative processes and open up new forms of self-positioning, relationship, and education.
