How long have you been dancing and what do you love most about it?

I’ve been dancing since I was four, and there’s really nothing that compares to the feeling of being on stage. The lights hit, the nerves kick in, and that flip in your stomach reminds you that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Whether I have a big role or just a small part, I always give it everything I’ve got — sometimes maybe even a little too much.

What has been your most memorable moment at Zurich Dance Academy?

It’s hard to choose just one moment, because there have been so many that meant something to me. But if I’m being honest, my favorite memory in TaZ was the moment I started truly appreciating the people around me. I found myself just pausing, taking it all in — knowing that my time with them was limited. That thought alone made every laugh, every conversation, every up and down feel so much more special. I learned to hold onto those little moments and enjoy them for as long as I could.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Honestly, I have no clue what my life will look like in five years — and I’m not sure if that’s something I even want to stress about yet. In a perfect world, I just hope I’m happy, wherever I end up. Hopefully, I’m still dancing and choreographing, because right now I really can’t picture myself leaving the dance world... though, who knows, maybe future me will surprise us both. At the end of the day, as long as I’m doing something I love and I’m happy — I’d say I’m winning.

The best feeling on stage is for me…

Dancing! The lights hit, the stress kicks in, and suddenly it feels like the universe is working against you. But honestly, the best part of being on stage is channeling that 4-year-old me who only cared about having a blast and doing my best. I just tell myself, "It’s gonna be fine," then go out there and put on a show. Make myself unforgettable, and most importantly — just DANCE like nobody’s watching (even though everyone definitely is).

What piece of advice would you give younger dancers who are hoping to grow and achieve their dreams in dance?

This one's tough, because I like to think I’m still that young dancer out there, looking for advice on how to navigate all the unknowns. For me, the key is simple — just have fun! Trust that God’s got your back and try not to overthink it. If you show up to class every day with the mindset of having fun, learning something new, and staying open-minded, you’ll be way happier with yourself — and I’m pretty sure you’ll make your teachers a little happier too!
