Nadine Schütz's master's thesis is a curatorial research on the study «Revision of the Red List of the threatened macrofungi in Switzerland». As part of a transdisciplinary exchange with Dr. Artemis Diana Treindl - a mycologist at WSL Birmensdorf - Schütz gained insight into the methods of collecting data on the biodiversity of fungi. Through situational descriptions of the research processes and a discussion of theoretical concepts from the field of New Materialisms, Schütz draws a picture of mycological knowledge production that questions the traditional notion of scientific objectivity as universal truth.
