DIPLOMA PROJECT
«Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.» (Audre Lorde)
Self-care as a rebellious act: In a world in which profit is valued over well-being, focusing on one's own limits and needs becomes a rebellious, anti-capitalist and feminist statement. In «Fuck it, I'm a flower», choreographer Audrey Wagner explores how self-care helps us to discover our own limits, cope better with injustice and create a strong trust in our own inner voice.
