    Q&A WITH NIKITA SINKEVICH
What does dance mean to you?
    - Dance is deeply personal to me. It gives me a strong sense of belonging and makes me feel at home. When I step on stage, I feel fully present and immersed in what I am doing, as if I am part of something bigger - something magical. Every time I enter the ballet studio, it continues to shape me as an artist and as a person.

What memory will you take with you from your time at ZHdK?
    - It is difficult to choose one single highlight from my time at taZ, as I spent six years there. Every experience that I got offered has been meaningful to me. What I will value most is the connection with the people around me – working every day with my wonderful classmates, who share the same goals and passion while bringing different ideas and personalities. Together with the support of our teachers and the whole team of the Academy, this environment created a strong sense of encouragement to grow, improve, and show our beautiful art to the world.

Which work or choreographer particularly inspires you, and why?
    - I was very inspired while working with Julieta Martinez on Sang Mêlé, and I felt like I was living with this piece every day. This piece was tough and required a very high level of precision and attention to the smallest details. It pushed me to grow and gave me five minutes and five seconds on stage that became one of the most memorable moments of my time as a dancer, moments I will never forget.
