DIPLOMA PROJECT
Changing perspective in life and in dance.
It means letting go of fixed ideas, embracing uncertainty, and seeing challenges as opportunities. In movement, a shift in viewpoint can reveal new emotions, or meanings.
In life, it helps us grow, connect, and understand ourselves and others more deeply.
Sometimes, a small change in how we look at things can open up entirely new paths.
BIOGRAPHY
I'm Giorgia, born and raised in Italy in 2002.
I took my first dance class at the age of 4, but honestly, I can't even remember when I truly started dancing, it feels like it's always been part of me.
When I was 12, I discovered contemporary dance, and it was love at first step. Since then, I haven't been able to stop.
In 2022, I joined ZHdK, where I realized that dance is more than movement for me, it's how I express my emotions, my thoughts, and connect deeply with myself. I've never been a fan of speaking in front of crowds, but give me space, and I'll tell you a story with my body.
During my final year of the BA, I had the opportunity to join Introdans in Arnhem, The Netherlands. It was an amazing experience that helped me grow not only as a dancer but also as a human being.
My biggest wish: to keep dancing, always.
