In collaboration with Michael Simon, head of the spezialisation Master Theatre Stage Design, the color-light-center created a color concept for 12 double-sided movable walls for the stage of 1.D10 in ZHdK. With white or colored light the interaction of light and surface colors can be investigated, explored and experienced.
In particular the interaction of light with saturated surface colors (red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow), unsaturated surface colors (light red, light green, light blue, light cyan, light magenta, light yellow) fluorescent orange and phosphorescent lemongreen can be staged.
In addition the influence of color temperature on color perception and room atmosphere can be experienced when the light changes from cold to warm white.
The color selection occurred on the basis of didactic criteria in order to stage the variety of color-light interactions. The surface colors were determined experimentally using a NCS color chart and a RGB LED light source.
