Gerald Raunig ist Philosoph, promoviert und habilitiert an der Universität Klagenfurt. Mitbegründer des eipcp (European Institute for Progressive Cultural Policies) und Mitherausgeber der multilingualen Publikationsplattform transversal texts https://transversal.at/.
Seine Bücher wurden ins Englische, Serbische, Spanische, Slowenische, Russische, Italienische, Niederländische und Türkische übersetzt. Zuletzt auf deutsch erschienen: DIVIDUUM.
