Biografie

Nico Lypitkas is currently serving as the interim head of the Cast / Audiovisual Media programme at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where he has been responsible for the Bachelor programme since 2016.

From 2013 to 2017, he coordinated Continuing Education within the Department of Design at ZHdK. Since 2008, he has been teaching editing, visual storytelling, and video production.

In his professional practice, he has worked as an editor and production manager at World Television (2008–2011) and Star TV (2003–2007), and contributed to a wide range of TV, cinema, and corporate productions as an independent filmmaker.

A recipient of the Best of Swiss Apps Award Gold and the International Corporate Media Award, he brings together expertise in audiovisual storytelling, digital distribution, and format development.

Nico Lypitkas studied film at ZHdK and went on to work as a filmmaker and coach in the film, television, and communications industry.
