Biografie
Born the 27th of March 2000 Francesco Venudo started
playing the violin at the age of seven.
In 2012, he started his studies in Castelfranco Veneto
conservatory “A. Steffani”, in the class of Michele Lot.
Since 2017, he continued his studies in the class of
Svetlana
Makarova at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne,
Switzerland.
In 2015, 2016 and 2018 he attended the lessons held by
Ivan Rabaglia and Amiram Ganz in Portogruaro Chamber
Music Festival.
Meanwhile, from 2015 till 2017 he kept specialising himself with Sonig Tchakerian
In 2017, he was awarded a scholarship for ensemble music specialization, selected by M.o Lon
Spierer, former Konzertmeister of the Berliner Philarmoniker. The classes took place in the Società
del Quartetto di Vicenza, Italy.
He took lessons with Gilles Apap in Venice “La Fenice” Grand Theatre, and with Igor Volochine and
Pavel Vernikov in Sion “Tibor Varga” Music Academy.
In 2019, he was selected to take part in Nora Chastain’s Masterclass, held in Ettal SommerAkademie
und Festival, in Germany.
In July 2020, he obtained his Bahelor degree in violin, at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne.
In September 2020, he started his Master degree with specialization in violin pedagogy in the same
university.
From January 2021 he his part of the Swiss Youth Orchestra (SJSO) as first violin tutti.
Since the age of 14, he has played as a soloist and as a member of important orchestras, in concerts
and festivals in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands:
In 2015 with Gilles Apap for the chamber music season of Venice “La Fenice” theatre.
In 2017 with “I Solisti Veneti”and Claudio Scimone at the “C. Pollini” auditorium in Padova and in
Milan Cathedral.
In 2018, he played at the Portogruaro Chamber Music Festival with cellist Enrico Bronzi, violinist
Amiram Ganz and tenor Toby Spence.
In 2019, he has played in the Blaricum Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Mathieu Herzog, and
worked with musicians like Konstantin Lifschitz, Kirill Troussov, Augustin Dumay, Andrei Ionita and
Maxim Rysanov.
In 2021 he played with the orchestra Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne and Swiss Orchestra.
In January 2022 he passed successfully the audition for the Gustav Mahler Jungendorchester.
He has been awarded prizes in several national and international competitions

Since 2018 he is supported by the Lalive Foundation of Geneva, with the loan of a fine contemporary
violin by the Suiss luthier Pierre Louis.
He speaks fluently Italian, English and French and can understand and express himself in Spanish as
well.
