Biografie
Francesco Reitano was born in Monza in 2002.
From November 2024 he’s timpani accademist in Teatro alla Scala. He is working with the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, La Toscanini, the Swiss Festival Orchestra, Zürcher Kammerorchester, City Light Orchestra Lucerne.
In 2015 he began studying percussion at the G. Donizetti Conservatory in Bergamo and continued his academic studies at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
In 2021 he won the audition and joined the Italian Youth Orchestra (OGI).
In 2022, he won the first prize of the Conservatory Award, Cat. B - Soloists of keyboard and
percussion instruments.
In July 2023 he obtained the first level degree in percussion instruments at the G. Verdi
Conservatory in Milan with a grade of 110 cum laude with academic mention.
During the three-year academic period and afterwards he was timpanist of the Orchestra del Conservatorio di Milano (OSCoM), conducted by M. Pietro Mianiti and collaborated with Maestros of the caliber of Fabio Luisi, Fabrizio Meloni, Alexander Malofeev and Emmanuel Pahud, Marc Bouchkov.
