Prof. Dr. Stefanie Lorey

Professor of Directing

In 2017, Prof. Dr. Stefanie Lorey completed her doctorate on the concept of the “Performativen Sammlung” [Performative Collection], transcript, Bielefeld. From 2012 to 2015, she was a scholarship holder in the artistic-scientific research programme entitled “Versammlung und Teilhabe. Urbane Öffentlichkeiten und performative Künste” [Assembly and Participation. Urban Public Spheres and Performative Arts].
Her research interests are the development of a contemporary concept of directing and the specific quality of the director’s view.

Prof. Dr. Mira Sack

Professor for Theater Education

In 2011, Prof. Dr. Mira Sack completed her doctorate on the topic of “spielend denken. Theaterpädagogische Zugänge zur Dramaturgie des Probens” [Thinking Spontaneously. Theatre Education Approaches to the Dramaturgy of Rehearsal] , transcript, Bielefeld.
Her research interests are aesthetic communication in children’s theatre, varieties of participation, exploratory research and aesthetic practice in theatre education.
