Packed with as much as her body can carry, Laura von Niederhäusern steps out of the door of her second home in Geneva and makes her way downstream along the Rhone. For seven weeks, she will not leave the river's side, following it on foot through France to where it flows into the Mediterranean. As she goes on pilgrimage, she searches for connections to the more-than-human and collects encounters, stories and images of experiences of living together. What will the river tell her? How will her bodily experience of travelling transform her perceptions of the environments and the temporalities? What accountabilities to water bodies and relationships to landscapes emerge through the senses when living more exposed to processes of an ecosystem?
