Nils Röller publishes the book "Philosophia: Poetry of Perception" as a response to new results regarding the "Consolation" published by Troncarelli in 2022. The work builds on the concluded SNF-Project "Iconography of the Consolation" and includes approximately 300,000 characters of text and 19 scans. The publication is followed by an interview with Ahmet Altan about his book "I will never see the world again."
The SNF-Project Iconography of the Consolation ended in 2019. Results were presented in an exhibition at Kunstraum Kreuzlingen and at the Symposium Abständiges 2019. The outcome was published online on the platform Text/Image Parergon 2022, and in several contributions (Output at https://fdb.zhdk.ch/inf2/index.php). As a response to new results regarding the Consolation published by Troncarelli in 2022, I intend to publish in print the book Philosophia: Poetry of Perception. The book includes text (ca. 300,000 characters) and ca. 19 scans. Planned is a publication at frommann-holzboog. This is followed by an interview with Ahmet Altan on his book "I will never see the world again," which comments on the Consolation.
