Welcome to SABRe!

Here you get some instructions for the SABRe Framepatch v3.1

The SABRe Framepatch is made to easy handling with several patches during a concert.

The main function is to load all patches you need for a concert with the option to switch between them without the danger that patches could disturb each other.

1. open the sabre_framepatch_loader

This small patch localizes the Framepatch folder, adds it to the Max File Preferences and defines the save-paths for presets and set lists.

(If you want to have a look at it, write "stop" on your keyboard during it's open. So it will not close.)

(The real Framepatch is in the library.)

2. In the Framepatch you can see:

a grey rectangle

to drag patches witch you want to load into the Framepatch.

a setlist-view-button

to see the stelist-view-options.here you can rearrange ore delete the loaded patches.

a next-button

to go through all the loaded patches during a concert.

an audio-button

to open up the audio-control-patcher.

Important: All patches you want to load in to the Framepatch, has to be in the Framepatch 3_1/sabrepatches fodler!

3. Framepatch-menubar:

As you see, the Framepatch has it's own menubar:

Tools:

Here you can open up some useful patches to handle with the SABRe-Instrument.

Setlist:

Here you can load, save and delet setlists.

And if the loaded patches supports prestes, you can save and load them here.

You easely can switch between the normal Max- and the Framepatch-menubar by using “alt m”!

4. get started

If you want to patch your own SABRe-patcher, please have a look at the SABRe_basicpatch.

You will finde it in the Framepatch 3_1/sabrepatches/themplates folder.

To see it in action, you can laod the "sabrebasic"-setlist and it will open up in the Framepatch.

The SABRe_basicpatch shows you, how you can receive and route all the datas from the Framepatch.

I also prepared a preset-fuction based on pattrstorage. It saves the data in to SABRe_Framepatch 3_1/sabrepatches/preset.

It also saves the routings and slider-positions in the audio-window. That's quite useful if you have different setups during a concert.

5.

If you have saved a setlist in the Framepatch, there activates the possibility to save a list with your chosen presets in your loaded patches. So if you reload a setlist, you can choose a setlist-preset and it will load the right preset for every single patch.

Thank you for testing and working with SABRe and the SABRe_Framepatch_v3.1!
