Cultural policies are a key focus of ZCCE research and consultancy.
We understand cultural policies in a broad sense, as encompassing the entire cultural sector from the public through the intermediary to the private sphere.
We analyse and comment on developments in national and international cultural policy. Our publications and activities (including workshops, symposia and conferences) are based on qualitative and quantitative data.
In the field of cultural policies, we work closely with numerous partners and organise joint events, present our research results and offer consulting expertise. A current example in this area is an international symposium on future developments in cultural policy.
Held in Paris, the symposium is part of a degree programme (a Minor in Cultural Policies) that aims to provide students with a comprehensive perspective on global developments in cultural policy by integrating our international network of researchers and practitioners.
