Central Saint Martins, College of Art and Design London and Zurich University of the Arts are two leading art and design institutions in Europe. They play an influential role within the cultural and creative industry ecosystems in London and Zurich. The panel, established in collaboration with Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design London, discussed the specifics of the cultural and creative industries in and between London and Zurich: How do the CCI strategies (Cultural & Creative Industries) in London and Zurich compare? And how might the similarities and differences be reflected in the curricula, research initiatives and business environment of two leading higher art and design institutions in Europe? Researchers, artists, designers, journalists and HAE managers discussed and developed innovative approaches from the perspective of both cities to define a progressive agenda for the CCI for the next decade.
