In 2021, The Hungry City, a symposium hosted by Helvetas, the Swiss development organisation, explored the urban food system in the Global South. The city of Mbeya in Tanzania served as an example. A 15-minute film conceived and produced by re-source presented the complexity of food systems in an understandable way and provided a starting point for various discussions and workshops. Attended by 250 guests from across the world, the symposium analysed global food challenges and developed perspectives for food systems.
