In the age of images, visual communication is the key element in raising awareness of environmental issues and promoting sustainable behavior. In this workshop, we trace the development of environmental posters up to today’s sustainability communication. Through creating our own small climate campaign, where we paint, cut, and paste, we explore how text and images can be used for targeted communication and how they can have a lasting impact.
With Nick Zamsa, Media & Communication, Sustainability Dossier ZHdK, and Daniela Mirabella, Lecturer in BA Design and staff member of the Graphics Collection at the Museum of Design Zurich, ZHdK.
This workshop took place on Wednesday, 4 September 2024 at ZHdK.
