Linda and her mother are going on s spontaneous holyday trip. As Linda listens to an Argument between her mother GINA and her father, her enjoyment vanishes completely. Even a conciliative talk between Gina and Linda cannot allay their resentment. Away from the house, Linda meets a cat, which she spontanously claims for herself. She ties the cat to a tree in the woods. But after a while even the cat has lost interest in playing Adventure.
Back by the house, Linda sits down to her mother on the Veranda table. Although they talk to each other, their emotional distance seems unbreachable.
