Moving Light Cones, Farb-Licht-Zentrum, Farb-Licht-Zentrum / ZHdK

The installation "Moving Light Cones" consists of a room filled with haze and six moving heads distributed in it. The animated light cones cut through, explore and scan the architectural space, while live music surrounds the visitors.

Through the fog and the diffuse reflection of the light, the 3-dimensional conical light spreading is made visible and conscious. In everyday life often only the 2-dimensional projection of the light on the walls or objects is perceived. The 3-dimensional character however, the light volume itself is easily overlooked.
