International Exchange Module

The international exchange project “Sonic Encounters” focuses on the development of aural performance strategies in the context of intercultural collaboration. The aim is to explore how sound subverts the boundary between sense and sensuality.

The institutional goal is the artistic networking between the newly developed programme “Master in Theatre” at ZHdK and the “Master in Expanded Theatre” at the “Royal Central School of Speech and Drama” in London. The project establishes an exchange of knowledge between the two higher arts institutions through artistic and research experimentation across geographical borders.
