Title: Kinetic Illustration of the “Rite of Spring”
My current choreography is a musical study on Igor Stravinsky´s “Rite of Spring” (second part). I have always craved to approach this Art work and kinetically attribute its radical music. I intend to visualize the music, using as images the moving bodies in space. The movement research is being made under the following thoughts/questions:
How can the body represent the musical instrument or/and illustrate this musical piece succeeding the best possible accuracy?
