How can music be represented visually? Canvas is a project that examines this question with graphic tools, in a systematic way and in several mediums. A formal language is generated by six tracks, deciphered into a set of notes that each have their own visual code. The results are then presented as audiovisual animations, which are themselves sequenced in a publication, with the aim of displaying the rhythm and melody in printed matter and reinterpreting the musical score.
