Participation in the Biennale Internationale de Casablanca, 2020 –the project investigates transcultural representations of language. The work is the result of an intense process of scrutinizing dominant social mechanisms and societal norms in a multicultural world. Ishita Chakrabortytries to expand the usual boundaries in which we interact and create space in which she is able to weave alternative stories and where her artistic voice resonates with those who are usually not seen.
