The dancers have left the room. Only their shadows remain exploring the empty space. Visitors create their own shadows that interact with each other and may become part of the installation.
Or are the dancers still present?

Shadows are fascinating, especially the own one. The shadow as counterpart and image reacts to the smallest movement. They stimulate and encourage us to move and perform. At the same time shadows have a metaphorical and philosophical level. Just think of Plato's allegory of the cave. Is that what we see the reality?

For the exhibition in Athens at the invitation of Flux Laboratory Zurich, the shadows were projected onto a wall of normal houses, transforming the urban space into a temporary stage visible from far away. In this form, the work becomes a reminiscence of the theatre of Greek antiquity, the cradle of Western theatre culture.
