Stationery: A Language Puzzle

Languages are fragile constructs whose status is vulnerable to changing attitudes in the countries where they exist. When a language gains or loses visibility in public spaces, the speakers of the language gain and lose access to the public sphere. What role has this changing hierarchy of language played in creating an atmosphere of conflict? Can a public art project use language to combat this trend? This project takes a playful approach to research and particular aspects of these questions by using a language game that requires cross-cultural problem-solving skills.
