The project «Vergissmein-Nicht» (in English, «Forget-Me-Not») honours the women who contributed to the embroidery industry in Eastern Switzerland. Drawing on personal photographs and recorded conversations, it documents their stories in an honest and intimate way to create an audio-visual archive. The project takes a feminist angle and highlights the importance of comprehensive historical documentation as a means to gain a better understanding of neglected events. Preserving and disseminating these stories and experiences is important so they are not forgotten.
