    DIPLOMA PROJECT
This film is a psychological exploration of grief, not from death, but from the loss of childhood, innocence, and un-lived moments. It reflects on how we experience time linearly, while memories unfold in a disrupted, ever-changing, and repetitive way. Through personal, nostalgic locations, sounds, and people, the film captures the collapse of memories. In the pain of loss, there is a momentary sweetness—like time traveling back to moments once lived. My aim is to encapsulate how time feels linear, yet memory is woven, shifting, and reshaped by experience.

    BIOGRAPHY
My name is Ginger Hobbs. I'm originally from Sydney, Australia. I started ballet at age 4 and, as I grew, was exposed to many dance styles but was ultimately drawn to contemporary dance. I studied at ZHDK and participated in an exchange at CalArts during my bachelor's. Alongside performing, I've created several of my own works and have been mentored by Francesco Ventriglia in his choreographic practice.
