This paper examines how teachers in grades 1–2 can be supported in better responding to the different learning requirements of their students. Based on classroom observations, interviews with teachers and experts, and several prototypical interventions, the author develops a hybrid teaching tool that enables independent work while strengthening future skills such as creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication. The iterative process includes classroom trials, the development of a child-friendly digital prototype, and its repeated adaptation based on observations and feedback. The result is a concept for a hybrid teaching aid, including guidelines and a toolkit, which is intended to be used as a supplement to existing teaching materials. It aims to reduce the workload for teachers and provide children with more differentiated and motivating learning opportunities.
