Balz Auf der Maur (*1999) grew up in Central Switzerland and lives in Zurich. He works as a cinematographer on fiction and documentary films.
From 2019-2022 he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Video at the Lucerne University of the Arts (HSLU) with a focus on documentary cinematography. From 2023-2026 he studied at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) where he completed his Master of Arts in Cinematography.
