    Reimagine Street Food, Armin Apadana, Zürcher Hochschule der Künste

    Unlike ordinary takeaways, the Street Food Festival offers freshly prepared dishes that invite visitors to sample small snacks at as many stalls as possible.

    For his final project as part of the CAS Type & Brand course, Armin Apadana designed a fresh look for the festival. His aim was to anchor the feeling of ‘joie de vivre’ that a street food festival embodies in the brand. The new design for the festival relies heavily on distinctive typography, with letters designed to look as if they have been bitten into. This striking design decision gives the lettering a playful dynamic and evokes associations with the theme of food.
