    Researcher in Residence: Aleksandra Dziurosz

Institute for the Performing Arts and Film (IPF)

The project is part of a research residency at the Institute for the Performing Arts and Film (IPF), funded by the European program SCIEX.

Dr. habil. Aleksandra Dziurosz from Warsaw/Poland is a famous choreographer, dancer, and Professor who is currently conducting a practice-based research project in Switzerland at the IPF. As a result of her research fellowship in Zurich, a public practice-as-research project is planned. The goal is to transfer the research results into the training programme of the ZHdK as well as to connect it to the performing arts practice in Switzerland, by involving professional dancers. The project is considered a pioneer study in the field of practice-as-research in contemporary dance at the Zurich University of the Arts, which will strengthen the research residency programme as an important pioneer-project in a sustainable manner.
