Children and young people were the target audience for Blickfelder 2011 (German only) (Fields of Vision 2011). Within this framework, the Institute of Art Education carried out research that was both artistic and interventionist in its orientation.
Children and young people were the target audience for Blickfelder 2011 (German only) (Fields of Vision 2011). The younger the target audience, the greater the influence of parents and guardians. Blickfelder was externally evaluated by the agency spectrum3. The focus of the evaluation was the response of teachers and pupils to the new direction taken by the festival. The question which guardians are prepared to take their children to a Blickfelder event and for what reasons was not addressed.
During Blickfelder 2011 the Institute of Art Education at Zurich University of the Arts carried out research that was both artistic and interventionist in its orientation. The data were collected by means of questionnaires and interviews/conversations, embedded in an aesthetic, independent setting.
