Neurofeedback Within the Context of University-Level Music Education

Neurofeedback-Training for Attention and Concentration in Music Students

    Institute for Music Research (IMR)

The study’s aim is to develop skills to consciously generate different levels of concentration dependent on the specific external requirements, if need be independently of training devices.

Within the framework of this study, music students are asked to train attentional states relevant for their professional activity by using mobile neurofeedback devices. Psychometric scales and EEG are used for assessment before and after each training entity. The study’s aim is to develop skills to consciously generate different levels of concentration dependent on the specific external requirements, if need be independently of training devices.
