Hörtraining

Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (ICST)

This training course is designed to improve a music student's ability to perceive and identify rhythms, intervals, melodies, chords and chord progressions. It is not build upon a library of music examples but generates all of its exercises algorithmically. Thus, on each degree of difficulty an almost infinite number of very specific exercises is available in order to guarantee a varied and thorough training.

Being a part of the e-learning programme of the Zurich University of the Arts, this software is primarily aimed at music students to complement their ear training classes, but can be used for private studies as well.
