    Die BUX App -

Ein Literaturerlebnis das analoge und digitale Welt verbindet

    Institut für Designforschung (IDE)

Explore Zurich's hidden places, guided by famous authors and their stories taking place in the city. The stories are brought to you in videos, audio elements, 360° features and in augmented reality elements.

BUX has been developed in an interdisciplinary project between Zurich Tourism, the University of St. Gallen, dreipol (Zurich agency for digital products), and CAST. Developed as a prototype for literature in Zurich, BUX provides you with 11 multimedia walks through the city. Each walk relies on a story that takes place in Zurich. Guided by the author (e.g. Martin Suter, Thomas Meyer or Laura de Weck) who tells you about the story, its development and his/her relation to the city, you explore Zurich's hidden places. The stories are brought to you (geolocation) in videos, audio elements, 360° features and in augmented reality elements. With this, you not only get to know the author in a very personal way but you also get deeply immersed into the story.
