"Art Relationships" is the title of a multi-part project investigating the relationships between music, the visual (and audiovisual) arts, literature and dance. A number of sub-projects carried out by an interdisciplinary research team formulate historical and structural linkages between the arts. Along with individual contributions in publications and event presentations, the use of co-authorship forms are explored.
The breadth of the project is reflected in the interdisciplinary research team:
- Prof Corina Caduff (literary studies)
- Dr Sabine Gebhardt Fink (art studies)
- lic. phil. Florian Keller (cultural sciences)
- Dr Steffen A. Schmidt (music/dance studies)
- Dr Tan Wälchli (cultural sciences)
In a series of sub-projects (see below), the group formulate historical and structural links between the arts. Several books and essays on the subject are also published, in some cases co-authored.
