In the frame of the ZHdK’s research mission, the core team of the Research Focus Cultural Analysis in the Arts supports and promotes scientific and scientific-artistic dissertations. After individual agreements, the professors and lecturers of the fsp-k, Sigrid Adorf, Elke Bippus and Sønke Gau, can supervise dissertation projects in cooperation with other colleges and universities. The prerequisite for supervising a doctorate at the fsp-k is a thematic relationship to their respective fields of competence and research topics.
An artistic-/scientific doctorate programme titled “Cultural Critique as Aesthetic Practice” is currently being developed in cooperation with the University of Arts Linz and the University of the Arts Bremen.
