Pre-doctoral Programme Transforming Environments
The programme, which has been running since September 2021, enables young artists, curators and artistic researchers to develop and carry out a practice-based PhD project at the Department of Fine Arts (DFA).
Transforming Environments is a peer group for artistic PhDs within the scope of the international collaboration partnerships managed by Dr. Marcel Bleuler. It positions artistic research in the context of urgent social issues and open questions which arise from the current living conditions. The participantsโ projects concentrate on social, political or cultural challenges that require a change in thinking and action.
