    Violinist wanted

The ICST, Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology of ZHdK, conducts research on haptic technologies for digital musical interfaces. Within project HAPTEEV, we are developing a measurement system and haptic feedback based on a Yamaha Silent violin.
We are looking for a violinist to work with us during the various phases of development. The job is suited for violin students interested in digital musical instruments. No programming skills or previous experience with digital musical devices are necessary, however.
The job will involve testing our “Haptic Silent Violin” in collaboration with the researchers. The sessions will take place at the ICST research room in Toni-Areal. Planned average workload is 1-2 hours per week during 11/2021 - 02/2022. Sessions are organized by appointment.
Payment: 40 CHF per hour (According to ZHdK regulations "Compensation of students' work at the ZHdK", level 3 (CHF 40.-/hour))
