The Grants Office has a thorough knowledge of researchers’ needs relating to third-party funding and develops its offers accordingly. It provides ZHdK researchers with specific information about funding opportunities and makes current calls for proposals available in FundingZ. It initiates internal networking and information events and ensures the participation of internal experts at ZHdK.

Scouting

The Grants Office continuously monitors ongoing research projects at ZHdK and systematically identifies suitable funding opportunities. When relevant calls are published, researchers are informed promptly.

Courses and Trainings

The Grants Office offers various training courses on research funding (e.g. grant writing) as well as on managing externally funded projects (e.g. research database training).

Peer group meetings and workshops

The Grants Office sets up meetings for researchers planning to submit an application to the same call for proposals or research programme. The meetings offer researchers an opportunity to present their research project to a wider peer group at ZHdK. The group itself decides on the structure and content of each meeting while the Grants Office chairs and organizes them. In addition, it offers workshops on individual funding programmes.
