Water Table
When time flows faster than sound can travel, air behaves like a liquid. The sculpture Water Table (2018) by Florian Dombois allows for interaction with the flow and the study of its turbulence. The table measures 90 x 200 cm, and at its head, a sluice board raises the water level before the water rushes across a glass plate measuring approximately 90 x 100 cm.
The water table can be used by interested parties upon request to conduct their own experiments.
