The Zurich Saxfest celebrates the saxophone - with numerous concerts at some of the city's most interesting venues. Big names from the international sax scene and up-and-coming talents present a broad spectrum: classical, contemporary and improvised music.

The Saxfest Zurich 2024 takes place from April 6 to 14. Concerts, exhibitions and masterclasses can be seen at the Toni-Areal, the Kunsthalle Zürich, the Mehrspur music club, the Wasserkirche and the Johanneskirche.

The internationally renowned Saxophone Studio Lars Mlekusch attracts young talents from all over the world to the ZHdK. In addition to their lessons, they give numerous performances in various formations within and outside the university.
