The EUA Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) is an integral part of the European University Association (EUA), an initiative in response to the growing interest in doctoral education and research training in Europe. Today, the EUA CDE is the largest European network in this field, involving more than 260 universities and institutions in 38 countries.
With this membership, the ZHdK not only strengthens its international visibility in the field of artistic and artistic-scientific doctorates, but also actively participates in and shapes the higher education policy discourse surrounding the third cycle (doctoral studies). Bea Böckem, Head of the Research Affairs ZHdK, is the delegate responsible in this network.
