We are pleased to announce that we have launched the Support Network of Dormitory & Residence Life / Pastoral Care between the boarding schools of nine leading international ballet schools.
We hope to continue to grow this dynamic platform to share and continuously expand our knowledge and insights. Through such a network, we aim to ensure that life in our institutions is rich, visionary, and supportive for our young dancers, allowing them to explore and reach their potential in the healthiest way possible.
All ballet schools are in regular contact with each other and have understood how helpful it is to share information and learn from each other.
"We stand for continuous learning and want to create a safe place that ensures the best possible development for our up and coming ballet dancers," said Mario Bommer, coordinator of the network and director of the Zurich Dance Academy boarding school. "In order to live up to this goal, we rely on dialogue with our students and want to be in close exchange with our partner schools in order to meet the needs of our residents."
The following ballet schools are a part of the Support Network of Dormitory & Residence Life / Pastoral Care:
- The Australian Ballet School, Melbourne
- The Dutch National Ballet Academy, Amsterdam
