On May 7th 2025, Switzerland has used up all its natural ressources for the year - after just 127 days. Together with Greenpeace Schweiz, students from the Department of Design gave the country a receipt for its overconsumption: a 71-metre-long installation with 127 questions designed to provoke reflection and inspire future-oriented solutions. The work was designed by Lorena Gamper, Jakob Galler and Finn Stillhart. A printer programmed by Luca Zeller printed compact versions of the receipt โ as a takeaway for food for thought.
After the performance, the receipt โ printed on recycled Blueback paper โ was screen-printed, cut into 56 posters, and sent to the winners of the giveaway. As a symbolic reminder, each of the seven Swiss Federal Councillors will also receive a poster.
Huge thanks to Greenpeace and to all involved students of the "Student Design Agency" minor for the inspiring collaboration!
